China,20 May 2020-Singapore-based Space Matrix and well-recognized IA Interior Architects are thrilled to announce that they have come together in a Strategic Partnershipwhere two of the largest global design firms focused on interiors for workplaces have joined forces to provide unparalleled design services and capabilities to serve its clients.

This partnership will include shared resources in a “Global Studio” with dedicated professionals, technologies, and expertise, all focused on innovation and designing cutting-edge interiors. The Global Studio connects over 1,400 professionals across 37 locations spanning the globe, allowing both firms to serve clients across six continents, in more than 60 countries, and in over 500 cities.

In March 2020, the American Chamber of Commerce in China released the ‘2020 China Business Environment Survey’, pointing out that despite the global pandemic’s influence and other challenges, China will still remain the key market for U.S. investment in the long run. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers’s survey in March, most of the US enterprises in China see a positive trend of development in the market and are willing to continue their business operations in the China market. The Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C also emphasized that although U.S. companies are affected by the pandemic, there is currently no large-scale withdrawal from the China market. Global collaboration has been on the rise within China even in 2020. Within the special zone of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone project, local and foreign enterprises have reached an agreement with the authorities on 12 new industrial projects, with a total investment of more than 20 billion yuan. Shanghai Municipal government’s official social media account shows that in Q1 the investment has been as high as 4.67 billion USD, showing an increase of 4.5% as compared to last year. 10 new global HQs, and 5 R&D centers have chosen Shanghai as their base.
